CANCER SCREENING DESIGNED AROUND YOU
Cancer screening is not one-size-fits-all. The screening tests that may be appropriate for you depend on factors including your age, sex, personal medical history, family history, tobacco exposure, previous screening results and other individual cancer-risk factors.
At Premier Total Healthcare, the process begins with understanding your health history and screening needs. Through Premier and Live Longer, patients can explore appropriate early-detection options ranging from established cancer-screening methods to newer blood-based multi-cancer screening technologies.
The objective is simple: identify which screening options may be appropriate, complete the recommended testing, review the results and coordinate appropriate follow-up when needed.
• Individual Cancer-Risk Review
• Personal & Family History Assessment
• Review of Previous Cancer Screenings
• Multi-Cancer Early Detection Testing
• Blood & Laboratory Screening When Appropriate
• Colorectal Screening Options
• Guideline-Based Screening Recommendations
• Results Review & Follow-Up Coordination
KNOW YOUR RISK. KNOW YOUR OPTIONS.
TYPES OF CANCER SCREENINGS WE EVALUATE
Screening recommendations differ according to the type of cancer and the individual patient. Premier helps patients understand which screening pathways may be appropriate based on current health information, established screening recommendations and individual risk.
MULTI-CANCER
EARLY DETECTION
Blood-based screening designed to look for cancer-associated signals involving multiple types of cancer.
COLORECTAL
CANCER
Evaluation of appropriate colorectal cancer-screening options, including qualifying stool-based screening methods.
BREAST
CANCER
Review of age, history, risk factors and current recommendations for appropriate breast cancer screening.
LUNG
CANCER
Risk assessment and screening coordination for qualifying patients, including individuals with significant tobacco exposure.
PROSTATE
CANCER
Individualized discussion of prostate cancer risk and appropriate screening considerations.
CERVICAL
CANCER
Review of appropriate cervical cancer-screening needs based on age, history and prior screening.
FAMILY HISTORY
OF CANCER
Assessment of family history and other factors that may affect an individual's cancer risk or screening needs.
PERSONAL HISTORY
OF CANCER
Screening considerations for patients with previous cancer history should be coordinated with the patient's appropriate treating physicians.
OVERDUE
SCREENINGS
Identification of recommended screenings that may have been delayed, missed or never completed.
HIGHER-RISK
PATIENTS
Personalized assessment for individuals whose age, medical history, lifestyle or other factors may increase cancer risk.
A STRUCTURED, PHYSICIAN-GUIDED SCREENING PROCESS
HOW CANCER SCREENING AT PREMIER WORKS
Premier uses a structured process to assess cancer-screening needs, identify appropriate testing options, review results and coordinate additional evaluation when necessary.
STEP 1:
Health History & Cancer-Risk Review
Your provider reviews your age, medical history, medications, family cancer history, previous screenings, tobacco exposure, relevant health conditions and other potential risk factors.
STEP 2:
Personalized Screening Review
Your existing screening history is compared with your individual risk profile and appropriate current screening recommendations.
STEP 3:
Screening Test Selection
Based on the evaluation, appropriate screening options are discussed. These may include multi-cancer blood testing, colorectal stool testing, laboratory testing or coordination of other recommended screening procedures.
STEP 4:
Testing & Results Review
The selected screening is completed and results are reviewed in the appropriate clinical context by a healthcare provider.
STEP 5:
Follow-Up & Diagnostic Coordination
If a screening identifies an abnormal finding or cancer-associated signal, additional diagnostic evaluation may be recommended. Premier can help coordinate appropriate follow-up with imaging, laboratory testing or medical specialists when necessary.

MULTIPLE APPROACHES TO EARLY CANCER DETECTION
Screening technology continues to evolve. Premier evaluates available screening options alongside established cancer-screening recommendations to help determine which approach may be appropriate for each patient.
GALLERI® MULTI-CANCER
EARLY DETECTION TEST
The Galleri® test is a prescription blood test designed to identify cancer-associated DNA signals in the bloodstream across more than 50 types of cancer.
When a cancer signal is detected, the test also provides information intended to help identify the likely tissue or organ associated with that signal and guide appropriate diagnostic follow-up.
Galleri is recommended by its manufacturer for adults with elevated cancer risk, such as adults age 50 and older. It is designed to be used in addition to—not instead of—routine cancer screenings recommended by a healthcare provider.
Testing begins with a blood sample ordered by an appropriate healthcare provider.
Simple Blood Draw
One blood test evaluates cancer-associated signals involving numerous cancer types.
Multi-Cancer Screening
If a cancer signal is detected, additional diagnostic testing is required to determine whether cancer is actually present.
Results & Next Steps
COLORECTAL
CANCER SCREENING
Stool-based colorectal screening can provide a convenient, non-invasive screening option for appropriate patients.
Testing may include clinically appropriate methods designed to identify blood, DNA, RNA or other markers associated with colorectal abnormalities depending on the screening method selected.
Current American Cancer Society guidance recommends regular colorectal cancer screening beginning at age 45 for average-risk adults, with the specific screening method selected according to patient circumstances and preferences. Positive non-colonoscopy screening results require appropriate follow-up.
Certain screening methods can be completed using a stool sample without an invasive procedure.
Non-Invasive Options
Age, family history, previous polyps and other health factors can affect screening recommendations.
Risk-Based Screening
Abnormal stool-screening results may require diagnostic colonoscopy or other appropriate evaluation.
Follow-Up When Necessary
BLOOD & LABORATORY
CANCER SCREENING
Blood testing can provide useful information as part of an individualized health and cancer-risk assessment.
Certain blood-based tests may be appropriate in specific screening situations, while other laboratory markers are primarily used for diagnostic evaluation or monitoring rather than routine cancer screening.
Premier evaluates testing in the context of the patient's medical history, risk profile and clinical needs rather than relying on a single laboratory marker to determine whether cancer is present.
Laboratory testing is selected according to the individual patient's clinical circumstances.
Appropriate Test Selection
Results are considered alongside medical history, symptoms, previous testing and other relevant information.
