ESTABLISHING A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF YOU

When it comes to fully understanding the human body there is no perfect answer or solution. However testing for certain deficiencies, allergies, or biological makeup, we are able to establish a better understanding of how your body works and the things it reacts to. Here at Premier through various testing we are able to get a better understanding of what works and doesn’t work for your particular body, while establishing a regimen geared specifically towards your body’s needs.

Food Allergy Testing
Food allergies come in two types. An immediate response reaction in which a person has a immune allergic response. This type of reaction is less common, but potentially more devastating. This is the classic example of a person who has an allergic response to peanuts or shellfish for example leading to an anaphylactic reaction that can be life threatening. People with these type of allergies are well aware of them and avoid these foods at all costs.
A more common, but slower reacting type of allergic reaction is the delayed onset reaction or food intolerance. It is estimated that millions of American are subjected to this type of reaction to foods and other chemicals.
The immune system will be activated when this type of intolerance is present and create a chronic inflammatory response which can lead to:
Migraines, digestive disorders, skin disorders, obesity, chronic fatigue, weakened immune system, autism, asthma, aching joints and fatigue.
Our office utilizes The Alcat test. This test is used to measure personalized nutrition at the cellular level. This technology utilizes a blood test to measure the body's cellular response to challenges from a wide variety of foods, food additives, colorings, molds and environmental chemicals.
A detailed analysis and report is made with recommendations that our doctors use to prescribe a desensitization and detoxifying program to bring about balance to the body.
Genetic Lab Testing
Genetic testing in a broader sense includes biochemical tests for the possible presence of genetic diseases, or mutant forms of genes associated with increased risk of developing genetic disorders. Genetic testing identifies changes in chromosomes, genes, or proteins. The variety of genetic tests has expanded throughout the years. In the past, the main genetic tests searched for abnormal chromosome numbers and mutations that lead to rare, inherited disorders. Today, tests involve analyzing multiple genes to determine the risk of developing certain more common diseases such as heart disease and cancer. The results of a genetic test can confirm or rule out a suspected genetic condition or help determine a person's chance of developing or passing on a genetic disorder. Premier offers modern genetic testing to give you a true understanding of your bodies makeup and any suspected genetic condition that may be present.
Vitamin Deficiency Testing
There is overwhelming evidence confirming that vitamin deficiencies are associated with disease processes and the overall condition of your health. Vitamin, Mineral and antioxidant deficiencies have been shown to suppress the function of the immune system which can contribute to degenerative processes such as arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, to name a few. Yet you, like many other people, may be deficient in some vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and/or other essential micronutrients and not even know it. University research shows that 50% of people taking supplements remain deficient. These deficiencies can contribute to disease processes and keep you form performing your best. A complete report will be provided with all the Vitamins that your body really needs.
Hair Mineral Analysis
Trace Minerals are essential in countless metabolic functions in all phases of the life process. There exists a unique ability to recognize abnormal metabolic processes from trace mineral patterns found in the hair and other tissues. With specific dietary modifications, restoration of a more normal biochemical balance can be achieved, thereby eliminating many nutritionally related endocrine, neurological and even emotional disturbances. Each test report will provide you with the most complete and comprehensive computer evaluation of significant mineral levels and ratios as tested in the hair. Included is a listing of foods to eat or to avoid in accordance with food allergy indicators and individualized requirements. In addition, each analysis contains a highly specific listing of nutrients that may assist in balancing body chemistry.
Adrenal Hormone Testing
The adrenal glands situated superior to the kidneys, coordinates the body's response to stress by releasing catecholaines and glucocorticoids into circulation. This function is key to coordinate the variety of bodily changes needed for stress adaptation. However, prolonged elevations of glucocorticoids, form chronic stress are detrimental to the health of the body. Elevated levels of glucocorticoids are well implicated in a number of pathologies including, coronary heart disease, hypertension, stroke, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue, osteoporosis, in addition to learning and memory deficits. The latter of which are due to direct insult on the hippocampal formation of the brain, the area involved in learning and memory, and most sensitive to glucocorticoid damage. Exceptionally low levels of glucocorticoids, on the other hand, must also be considered in disease progression.
Neurotransmitter Testing
The use of urinary neurotransmitter testing in clinical practice has proven to be a useful tool for many health care providers. Thousands of patients experiencing neurotransmitter-related conditions, including depression, insomnia, anxiety, and fatigue have benefited from the quantitative insight a neurotransmitter test has provided. In addition to identifying neurotransmitter imbalances, this test can serve as a guide to selecting therapeutic approaches.
When addressing clinical conditions that are linked to imbalances in brain chemistry, samples of the relevant analytes would ideally be collected from within the brain itself. However, brain tissue analysis is not a feasible option. Even cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) analysis is far too invasive. The least invasive procedure (urinary assessment) is the most desirable option.
Blood Testing
Premier receives hundreds of calls from people who ask, “What can I do to improve my health and longevity?” Our response is basically “come get a blood test.”
The reason we appear so forward is that unless we know what your blood looks like under a microscope, there is no way for us to identify what steps you should take to protect your health and enhance your well-being.
Annual blood testing is the most important step aging adults can take to prevent life-threatening disease. With blood test results in hand, you can catch critical changes in your body before they manifest as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, or worse. Having the proper blood tests can empower you to enact a science-based disease-prevention program that could add decades of healthy life while increasing longevity and vitality into your body while allowing the experienced staff at Premier to create the proper program specific to your personal needs.
Drug Testing
As a drug testing provider, Premier offers a full line of lab-based products and services with the critical information you need to make confident and informed decisions about prospective and current employees, We can determine the presence or absence of specified parent drugs or their metabolites. Heavy Metal Testing
Heavy metals are naturally occurring elements that have a high atomic weight and a density at least 5 times greater than that of water. Their multiple industrial, domestic, agricultural, medical and technological applications have led to their wide distribution in the environment; raising concerns over their potential effects on human health and the environment. Their toxicity depends on several factors including the dose, route of exposure, and chemical species, as well as the age, gender, genetics, and nutritional status of exposed individuals. Because of their high degree of toxicity, arsenic, cadmium, chromium, lead, and mercury rank among the priority metals that are of public health significance. These metallic elements are considered systemic toxicants that are known to induce multiple organ damage, even at lower levels of exposure.
This panel of heavy metal testing will identify harmful metals that may be lingering in our body, such as mercury, lead, arsenic and aluminum. It is important to maintain proper metal levels in the human body for optimum health and wellness.
Covid-19 Testing

COVID-19 Rapid and PCR testing are both diagnostic tests used to detect the presence of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Rapid tests are antigen tests that detect viral proteins, while PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests detect the virus's genetic material.
Rapid tests are quick and provide results in as little as 15 minutes, but they are less accurate than PCR tests. PCR tests are more accurate and sensitive but can take longer to provide results, usually within 24-48 hours.
The primary reason for testing is to identify people who are infected with SARS-CoV-2, even if they are asymptomatic, so that they can isolate themselves and prevent further spread of the virus. Testing is also used to diagnose COVID-19 in people who have symptoms of the disease, and to monitor the spread of the virus in the community.
